Some favorite shows of late:

February 2: jean mann and Kate Phillips. T’was a great show, see The Next Show, and our 2013 line-up | Soundfalls Institute of Live Performance

March 16: Sno-Valley Tilth (and Carnation Farmer’s Market) has just joined forces with Soundfalls for the hosting of the 1st Annual St. Paddy’s Day Bash at the Carnation Tree Farm on Saturday, March 16th, with over 150 people arriving between 4 and 6 pm for an authentic Irish banquet, fun Irish activities, then live acoustic music (and potentially dancing) around 7 pm. The event will occupy both the large open 2nd level dance floor and the upper loft of the barn. This is not a Soundfalls show, per se, but rather an event sponsored in part by Soundfalls, featuring some of Soundfalls’ favorite regional and local musicians. Won’t you consider bringing your instrument or band?

April 27:

Image 2Thank you for a great show on April 27th, which featured Jay Pinto, Jenn Dean, and the Poindexters. We luxuriated in the now-heated space of the National Landmark barn of the Carnation Tree Farm while we heard the much-loved guitar and voice of Jay Pinto and listened to the stories from Jenn Dean of her experiences coming face to face with the wild Snoqualmie Valley…and world! The Poindexters also joined us, featuring Denny Redman on vocals and clarinet, Clare Conrad on fiddle, Rick Scheuer on guitar, and Stuart Brune on banjo.
